Melissa Wilson Landscape Architects was founded in 2006. MWLA provide design and documentation of large and small-scale projects residential and commercial projects and an extensive plant knowledge that is applied on all projects.
We value three key factors in the process of any project, no matter the scale; communication, consideration and collaboration. As a small boutique practice we offer flexibility, reachability and transparency. You will always deal with Melissa, as Director or Jai, as Associate Landscape Architect.
As a practice we are involved in a broad range of projects including public domain, mixed use residential/commercial projects, affordable housing, group housing, childcare facilities, public spaces associated with commercial facilities and contemporary residential projects.
Project Types
We believe in the transformative power of landscape through its positive impact on individuals and communities. We work with Architects, Artists, Interior Designers, Engineer’s, Quantity Surveyors, Surveyors, Arborists and many other specialist consultants. Our clients include, Architects such as Hill Thalis Architecture and Urban Design, Carter Williamson Architects, Redshift Architecture and Art, private developers and private residential clients.
Who We Work With
We have honed our skills in communication, attention to detail and ability to deliver projects on a budget through a multitude of residential projects and recent public projects. This work has given us the critical building blocks for our design practice. As we have more involvement in public spaces and working for Councils and institutional clients, we have tapped into this core knowledge to produce projects at a high level.
